    Scope of work:

    The Manager (Design, Monitoring & Evaluation) will sit within our Services Directorate (as a Services Manager). The position will be based in Beirut or Gaziantep, dependent on candidate’s preferences and business needs (this can be discussed during interview). They will particularly focus on project development (designing technical approaches, methodologies and teams) and delivery, combining technical expertise with effective project and client management. The position will report to a Senior Manager based in their location.

    Terms of Reference:

    A. Project development and client management (45%)

    The candidate is expected to support project development and business development, and drive and grow Integrity’s client base through existing relationships. He/she will:

    • Draft technical and commercial proposals of varying sizes with a focus on monitoring and evaluation.
    • Coordinate with partners on relevant frameworks to formulate technical and commercial approaches to tenders and pre-position for business opportunities.
    • Provide technical assistance and inputs on M&E methodologies for technical proposals.
    • Explore upcoming opportunities not yet tendered, through effective pre-positioning with potential primes and other relationships.

    B. Project delivery (45%)

    The candidate will support, manage and deliver key projects and outputs across Integrity’s portfolio. Key project management responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

    • Direct projects; ensure oversight and support; and assume primary accountability for budgets, deliverables, risk and project closedown.
    • Contribute to the delivery of contracted work through project management including financial and budget management, forecasts and budget planning, data management, client communications and coordination of delivery efforts.
    • Provide technical inputs, in a short-term technical assistance role, including quality assurance of project team deliverables.
    • Manage relationships with core consultants; identify new consultants with the appropriate technical, management and thematic skills to deliver Integrity’s growing portfolio of work; grow and nurture the database of M&E consultants ahead of upcoming opportunities.
    • Lead client communications and relationship management.

    C. Thought leadership and thematic development (10%)

    • Understand, monitor and disseminate new agendas and trends within the field, with a particular focus on contribution analysis, third-party monitoring, conflict sensitive indicator development, quantitative monitoring, impact assessments and learning.
    • Enhance Integrity’s approaches and methodologies in relation to M&E, with a view to promote innovative practices and position the organisation as practice/thought leader.
    • Develop and update thematic and technical brochures that demonstrate Integrity’s capacity and expertise for internal and external dissemination.

    Education and Experience:

    The candidate will have:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject such as economics, political science, international relations, sociology, social anthropology, international development, conflict and peace studies or related subject.
    • 5 years’ experience of working in the international development sector, including business development and project delivery.
    • Monitoring and evaluation experience.

    Preferable:

    • Experience working with funding agencies including DFID, FCO, USAID etc.
    • Experience working in Fragile and Conflict-Affected States.

    Competencies:

    The candidate will demonstrate:

    • Knowledge of international best practices in governance work and political economy a­­­nalysis.
    • Leadership skills and an ability to work well both independently and in teams.
    • Project management skills, such as team, financial, and client management skills.

    Scope of work:

    Ahead of upcoming recruitment for three major programmes in Syria, Integrity seeks to expand its network of professionals and consultants who are committed to our values of providing high quality technical services which contribute to change in Fragile and Conflict Affected Environments.

    We are looking to strengthen and expand our reliable network of research and analysis (R&A) professionals of various levels of seniority and experience who are both detail-oriented and committed to teamwork.

    Terms of Reference:

    At the Researcher level, candidates may be eligible with less than 2 years of experience provided that they speak Arabic fluently and have networks in Syria.

    Scope of work:

    The MENA Business Intern will support the business team in the region (and globally) in identifying, recording and registering suitable consultants for a range of projects in the MENA region, with a special focus in the development and maintenance of the consultant management systems, the pursuit new business opportunities and the prioritisation of partners and competitors.

    Scope of work:

    Project Officer MENA (PO MENA) will work to ensure the smooth running of Integrity’s MENA operations by providing logistical and administrative support to all aspects of the project cycle (identification, proposal development, recruitment, implementation and close down) as well as briefing, in-person coverage, editing and drafting. PO MENA will work closely with the Operations Officer (OO) MENA on both project and logistical support, and both should have a thorough understanding of each other’s work.

    Terms of Reference:

    A. Project Delivery Support (50%)

    Maintaining a detailed overview of all planned and actual MENA project work. Brief Integrity’s management on MENA work as required.

    • Contributing to report drafting, editing and formatting. Quality assurance of select written deliverables. Research support on specific projects.
    • Logistical: Ensuring the smooth deployment of staff, consultants and resources through the procurement of flights, visas, letters of entry, consultant deployment checklists and movement of funds.
    • Administrative: Maintaining the electronic project code list (on Podio), all project entries and managing specific Podio workspaces. Maintaining streamlined and well- organised electronic project folders on Dropbox.
    • Consultant management: Manage consultant contracts, track delivery time and collate timesheets across MENA projects. Liaise with consultants and clients to prepare and process timesheets and invoices.
    • Support the financial administration of MENA projects.
    • Provide in-person support to project teams through visits to different country offices and project sites.

    B. Project Development Support (30%)

    PO MENA will provide high quality support to project development in the MENA region:

    • Substantial input on project proposals, including liaison with consortium partners, background research, drafting and budget design.
    • Liaise with the Operations Manager HQ and Deputy Director of Operations in London to produce project risk management assessments.
    • Assist with research into and preparation of project financial proposals.
    • Identify, interview and select regional experts and consultants for project teams, managing the relationships across multiple projects.

    C. Business Development Support (10%) Support the growth of Integrity’s MENA portfolio through targeted business development opportunities, writing project summaries, think pieces and commentaries, compiling team sheets and relevant track records and designing MENA country pages for the website.

    D. Resource Management Support (10%)

    Support Integrity’s Deputy Director of Operations in managing resources and competing resource demand to ensure critical resources are available for Integrity’s service line projects in the MENA region:

    • Maintain accurate records for staff and consultant movements in the region.
    • Map active projects, define key dates and monitor human resource distribution across the projects.
    • Provide administrative and briefing support to staff and consultant deployments.
    • Facilitate the monthly cash request for all of MENA (Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan). Liaise between HQ, Turkey, Lebanon; compile information, feed up to Finance Manager in HQ to arrange cash payment and liaise with Operations Officer and Operations and Finance Manager MENA to distribute cash.

    Scope of work:

    The Junior Analyst will support Integrity’s Services team. The Services team leads on the methodological design of project proposals, and the implementation of projects. We are looking for someone who can support our research and help us to stay on top of the latest approaches and literature.

    We are particularly keen to find someone with good research training and around one year of experience in conducting research using both qualitative and quantitative research skills. You might have already worked in developing countries, or you might be seeking to gain global experience. Regardless, you will have an interest in conducting research and supporting programme delivery in fragile and conflict-affected environments.

    At Integrity, you will gain further experience in research, proposal development, project administration and support, working in a consultancy, and on all aspects of the project cycle. You will ultimately build a good understanding of the international business environment and the development sector. The position is based in London at our office in Somerset House.

    The package: In return for your commitment, Integrity will pay an agreed basic salary, and give you the opportunity to work on projects with the team in the UK and in our regional offices in the Middle East and East Africa. You will report directly to a Services Manager based in London and have a Personal Development Plan. Your work will have a direct and meaningful input to the company’s objectives. You must be eligible to work in the UK at the time of making this application and able to commit for a minimum of 12 months.

    Terms of Reference:

    A. Research support (60%)

    • Research assistance on proposals and projects in different geographies, such as MENA, the Horn of Africa and the DRC.
    • Quantitative and qualitative data analysis on Integrity projects.
    • Work with Managers to develop and document Integrity’s approaches and methodologies.

    B. Project support (25%)

    • Provide copy edit and formatting support to reports, proposals and presentations intended for our clients.
    • Working with the Corporate and Operations teams, providing support on project implementation processes including invoicing, time and resource management.
    • Working with the Business Development team, providing support on proposal development processes, including proposal design, consultant and account management.

    Education and Experience:

    The candidate will have:

    • An undergraduate degree in a relevant subject such as political science, international relations, sociology, social anthropology, international development, peace and conflict studies or related subject
    • One year of professional experience undertaking social research on a thematic that is relevant to Integrity (including conflict, climate change, governance, justice, poverty etc.)
    • Experience conducting IT and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment or demonstrable ability to do so
    • Experience using software packages including NVivo and SPSS desirable.

    Competencies:

    The candidate will have:

    • Demonstrable research competencies and high-standard writing skills, with applicable skills in quantitative and/or qualitative social research methods.

    Scope of work:

    Senior Operations Manager is a London-based senior manager position in the Directorate of Operations, reporting to the Director Operations and supporting the Operations Manager HQ. The role offers an operations professional a range of responsibilities to ensure the safety, security and preparedness of all Integrity personnel when overseas. The role will provide analysis and advice on security and risk management globally, particularly in the Middle East and Africa, and implement necessary change. Working with in-country operations personnel, the Senior Operations Manager will ensure local operations and procedures are suitable for the local environment and in line with the company’s Duty of Care policy, including standard operating procedures, country visitor guides, business continuity plans, health and safety training, and incident management.

    Terms of Reference:

    A. Overseas Risk and Security (40%)

    • Manage project risk overseas, in coordination with Operations Manager HQ
    • Monitor, analyse, report and recommend on security risks in all relevant Integrity geographies
    • Advise and work with Ops staff to develop, implement and/or maintain company security procedures, including country SOPs, visitor guides and movement plans
    • Ensure contingency, evacuation and hibernation plans are in place and suitably resourced logistically

    B. Duty of Care (30%)

    Scope of work:

    The Head of Business Development (HBD) is a senior management position within Integrity’s Business Directorate. The role offers an experienced development sector professional the chance to develop the Directorate at a strategic level, leading on execution of the global business development strategy and supporting the Directorate’s other key functions of account management, consultant management and marketing and communications.     Scope of work:

    The Programme Manager (PM) will lead on the management of an Egypt-focused research and analysis programme (hereby the ‘programme’) reporting to the Programme Director and closely collaborating with the programme’s Team Lead. The PM will be primarily responsible for all financial, administrative and day to day management of the programme, whereas the Team Lead will be responsible for technical design and delivery. The Programme Manager will deputise for the Team Lead on technical delivery matters.

    A. Programme and Project delivery (80%)

    Programme management ensure the implementation of the programme to a high standard of quality, on time and on budget.
